Kia ora Leah-Maree, this is a lovely poem and I like how you did it in a haiku format. I like how it is read from the point of view of Neil Armstrong as if it is what he is thinking while stepping onto the surface of the moon. His exact words as he took his first step onto Luna soil were ‘One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”. Keep up the good work! Ngā mihi nui, Zana Yates
Thanks Zana, I tried to incorporate his well known quote into my poem to give it some depth. I learnt about Haikus in year six and they are my second favorite type of poem. What is your favourite type of poem?
Hi, What would your first favourite type of poem be? I quite enjoy sonnets as I enjoy the rhythm and am a fan of Shakespeares work. Have you learnt about sonnets in school, it was one of my favourite topics in English.

Hello
DeleteI have not learnt about sonnets yet. As you are a fan of Shakespeare what is your favourite piece of his work?
